II – Optimism December 14, 2007
ADJUDICATION
The negative side of the previous debate was that Myanmar’s membership in the ASEAN not be revoked. The first negative constructive speaker started out with telling us of the recent events and controversies that Burma is experiencing. Massive human rights violations were taking place; the villages were being massacred by the military itself. The speaker expounds that if the ASEAN revokes the membership of Myanmar in the summit, then it will be going against the very principles of the ASEAN. If the ASEAN does revoke their membership, the speaker says that more disorder will ensue so they should just continue to influence Myanmar with non-stop talks. The Speaker gave good examples of past events, such as the one about North and South Korea and she also gave an analogy regarding a black sheep in the family, the family must still reach out to that member or even more chaos can occur. Her cross-examination was what I found, the most thorough and the best out of the entire cross exams. The speaker did not appear very confident in some parts, and rushed at the end of her speech.
The second constructive speaker added more strong points. Her main argument was that the ASEAN should stick to their commitment or what else would the ASEAN be for? By revoking Myanmar’s membership, it will be going against their core purpose of attaining a unified Asian region. She stated that it is part of ASEAN’s duty to help the countries part of their summit when help is needed and by doing so, it would help end the problems facing Myanmar. Her cross examination was rather short and it was not able to prove the point well enough, which is a shame since her argument was one of the strongest in the Debate. She spoke well with some conviction, though she did fumble with some words. She also spoke too quickly in other parts of her speech.
The first negative rebuttal speaker expounded more on ASEAN conducting more ARF meetings and that more talks should ensue. That there should be a peaceful intervention despite differences. She was not really able to rebut the Affirmative side’s arguments well. She was barely understandable, mumbled a lot of incoherent words and sometimes spoke too quickly. The second negative rebuttal speaker again expounded and added more good points. She stated that would one nation let another nation fall for its own benefits? She, like the first rebuttal speaker, again stated that it is not possible to help build democracy overnight so more efforts are needed. She stated that if Myanmar’s membership be revoked, then the ASEAN will be going against their own policies of attaining a community of peace. She rebutted the affirmative side’s arguments, saying that is selfish for the ASEAN to turn their backs on Myanmar and that the credibility of the ASEAN attaining a unified and peaceful Asia will be tarnished. The speaker did not speak with much conviction; she paused often and rushed in the latter parts.
The best speaker is Tetris Tan, the best debater is Verna Tan and the winning side is the Negative side.

Hey guys!!! I'm just reminding you that you can vote for the players who will participate in the NBA All Stars next year at NBA.com. I'm begging you guys to keep on voting DAILY for Steve Nash and the rest of the Suns. So far, the voting is screwed up as the first balloting returns in 2007 NBA All-Star voting was released on Thursday and our Phoenix Suns are nowhere to be found. At least not among the Western Conference starters. So guys PLEASE vote for them HERE. Thanks and keep on voting!!!

Continuation of the previous post!
Ok I would want to start of this entry with my barkada. I love my barkada, I really do. Yet there are several instances where sometimes I get frustrated with them. Not just annoyed, frustrated. Obviously, I can also be very frustrating to them too but then I 'm not going to be talking about that! Some of them tend to be very immature. And the candidates for this so called immaturity will come from the people most might least expect. I am immature yet I think that my way of thinking is mature for someone my age. These people sometimes surprise and greatly annoy me with their acts of immaturity. Though I do not really notice this personally, I read alot of stuff on the internet and some of the stuff I read are kind of stupid. THEN it comes into "real life". I'm not going to go into detail for the fact that I don't want another useless problem to be encountered with the barkada. I'm just rather fed up and want to release it. Katrina, if you're reading this, you know what I mean.
Last Wedneseday was Club Activity Day. Our club had the immense fortune of being able to go to Concordia Orphanage. I love kids and has been a passion of mine of helping the less yet very able fortunate children. I have never been to an orphanage and my first time will definitely not be my last. The kids are adorable yet their life stories are incredibly sad. Some come from an abused childhood and most are abandoned in the most unlikely of places such as the trash cans, flowerbeds etc... It greatly infuriates me that some people are insensitive enough to do this to CHILDREN! These people deserve to have their heads and hearts and souls examined. No child deserves this. Don't they know that their children could be future leaders? Could be doctors who find the cure for AIDS and other serious diseases? Could be great artists and poets who are loved and are inspirations for the rest of the world? I just don't get it. Anyway, before I go overboard in my rant, the kids ranged from really young babies to about 12 years old I think. We got to play with them and I got attached to a beautiful girl named Angela. She loved to eat that one! Thank God for such organizations!!! So people who need some personal enrichining, I suggest going to orphanages atleast once in your life. Not for you to be thankful but to appreciate the fact that children are the future and need to be nourished and loved. Hopefully I'll have some pictures soon, so stay tuned!
On a MUCH lighter note, as I previously wrote, I LOVE STEVE NASH!!!! Ok, it all started during sem-break. And a channel called Basketball TV. Obviously, it's my dad and brother's favorite channel. Every time we eat my dad would change the channel to A. The Karera channel or B. BTV. I am actually kind of annoyed by that, even though I am a big basketball fan I rarely watched the NBA. Whenever my brother is with me, he would change it to that channel and I would be slighltly annoyed. One day, I remember watching a game with Steve Nash in it. I already knew Steve Nash before as a long haired bball player. I never game him a second thought. Until that game. I have NOOO idea why then I started researching on him, out of curiousity. First at Yahoo. THen Youtube. Then I started having more thourough research and was bookmarking most of the links with his great interviews and pictures. I swear, there are LOADS. I love Youtube and found out lots and I mean LOTS of stuff about him. That's how I became a Nash/ NBA fan. Now I am a Basketball TV addict, I watch almost ALL of the games and I constantly visit http://www.nba.com . Why do I love Steve Nash you ask? If only I can sum up why. There are too many adjectives about him. I might even have the patience to write and essay about him. (I don't know if what I'm doing now is considered an essay! lol) Ok, I'll start with him as a basketball player. First of all, he is a 2 time consecutive MVP. Second is because of his unselfish style. He is the "Van Gogh of assists." A very rare quality in the NBA. Third, the reason why he won the MVP is not because of his statistics but his uncanny ability to make his team better. When he was traded to the Phoenix Suns, they were one of the worst teams in the league. Then they reached the playoffs with him and became one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Now THAT is a true basketball player. It also doesn't hurt that he is one of the purest shooters in the league. Personality wise, I can easily say he is probably one of the nicest, most amazing people I have never met. His teammates love him, his fans adore him. He never fails to sign an autograph, even though he thinks that celebrity is riddiculous. He is humble, funny and just an incredible, grounded guy. AND the guy is smart!!! He has deep interest in books, politics, art, and the world around him. He also has a passion for travelling. Doesn't sound like your typical NBA player huh? That's the reason what I like him so much. AND HE PLAYS SOCCER!!!! OMFG!!! AND HE IS REEEEALLLY GOOD AT IT! People even expected him to be a soccer player not a bballer. Cool huh? He is also different from his peers because of his appearance. He is short for NBA standards, is a white guy and he isn't like a bling-bling, hiphop kind of guy. He is very real. And for me, is really goodlooking. He is hot, right Kitkat??? lol! The catch? As usual he is MARRIED WITH KIDS... oh well. The reasons I seem to like those guys is the fact that they seem to be loyal and family men I that is kind of my dream guy!!! hahahahahaha! I can hope.... Another thing Iike about him? He is compassionate and extremely generous and willing to give back to his community. And you know I like that!
Today was our HANDOG SA PASKO MASS. Which at last minute, I was asked to be a reader for the Responsorial Psalm. I seem to be destined to always read that. haha. Overall it was a pretty average day. Just annoyed at some friends yet not a big deal. I don't even want it to be a big deal anyway!

I would want to apologize again for the long time I have not written anything. Though I did do something with my blog when I was on temporary "update leave". I changed the layout! The story is I was searching for a rather couture, glamour, fashion kind of skin in Blogskins.com. My header image is actually part of a gorgeous layout I found, UNFORTUNATELY, I have poor knowledge about changing the things to make the layout I found compatible with Blogdrive, I just took the image and found a skin that Blogdrive offers in the account that will match with the image. And voila! Though I must say, I really like it.
Ok I shall be filling you in on what happened when I was on my very long but temporary blog leave. I'll will summarize it and some events will have pictures.

December Ah December. Glorious December. A joyful month filled with interruptions and less homeworks and due dates. Oops. That was GRADE SCHOOL Decembers. Now, still lots of interruptions but the due dates will match November's. And we only like have a few weeks for this month. This week I can breathe, but the past few weeks were not exactly pleasant. After coming from a LONG weekend due to typhoons loads of freakin' due dates and being Ms. Last minute I did most of it the night before and one on the morning itself. GRRR.
Just got back from Sampaloc as it was the fiesta. Yummy food. They had chocolate fondue and it was soo yummy. And I love the weather. It's cold na! wohoo! Went Christmas shopping at 168 (ehem) last Friday with my mom. BOught lots of stuff! Mom kept getting great stuff! Also helped out yesterday with the cookies! yum!!! So this week, nothing much's going on seeing as it is the last week of school for 2006!! WOOPEEEEEE!!!!!!!! Christmas party at the 15th and a soiree with a section from XAvier. Why the heck did I say yes. Now i feel like I don't want to go because there's a game that day and when I missed the past few games, we lost. lol. Seriously though, we were on kind of a roll like the Phoenix Suns (my fave NBA team. I am a huge NBA fan now. I bought the whole collection of NBA pins from168. haha) then all of a sudden they start completely sucking once again. No fighting spirit I guess. hmph. It's their job anyway. If they want to lose, well, whatever. I am still extremely supportive. I'm optimistic that they can get out of their slump but gosh, they don't really learn from their past mistakes. THough I wish to acknowldege John Ferriols for incredible performances game after game. He is one of the major reasons why we won anyway. I salute you. As for the rest of the team, better luck next time. TAKE AFTER PHOENIX SUNS GUYS!!! They sucked at the beginning too! Now they are on a 9 GAME WINNING STREAK MAN!!!! Look at Steve Nash and the rest of the players! hahaha, I love Nash. He rocks! 2 time MVP! and he's hot... right KITKAT, LAR AND TRIXIE??? ahhaha!

Exams week is finally OVER!
Oh my god... I have just survived. This whole week has been one gigantic HEADACHE! I just experienced Periodical Test... Highschool style! Seriously though, after each test (fine not all) or even while taking the tests, I developed headaches and it was rather scary. Even while studying for the tests, I also had headaches. I'm not exaggerating one bit. Not all tests were that difficult, but I don't know, maybe I thought too much... lol!
And to add more headaches, there had to be SERIOUS drama this week. It's about our barkada. a person said something and she's out of the barkada (well, technically we're not really close to her and she's not really a part of it so it is not such a loss) then there are NEW fights... gad. It just had to be strategically placed on exam week!!!!!!!!! It is rather amusing to watch, but when a person starts crying, it is not as amusing. I will not go into details because things are too blurry and they should just fix the problem by themselves. I'm here to help, I am so not taking anyone's sides, they're all my friends anyway. So guys, fix it before my bday celebration, because I am inviting ALL of you and I don't care if you want to rip each others head off, you'll just have to suck it up. Come on guys, remember the good old days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please?!?!?! :D MIAMI VICE
The first one is Miami Vice. This review is going to be extremely short since, I slept through most of it. First of all, my mom forced me to watch it. Instead of going to study for the Chinese exams, I wasted my time watching this crap. Second of all, I HATE COLIN FARREL. And my mom knows that but STILL. Aargh... The story was weird and rather dumb, the acting was ok, but questionable. There were pointless random sex scenes that don't do the movie anything. They're not even entertaining... lol! And the cinematography completely and utterly SUCKS!!! But if you liked this, I'm sorry, this is just my humble opinion.. haha LADY IN THE WATER
Now, this movie I REALLY liked. I knew it was gonna be good eversince I first watched the teaser trailer for this film and the words FILM BY M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN appeared, but I did not expect it to have such a huge effect on me. Ok, critics bashed this (all critics are really annoying, except me! ;D lol) This movie requires a specific taste, this is a very unusual film. I have never watched anything like it. It is about a "Apartment building superintendent Cleveland Heep (Giamatti) rescues what he thinks is a young woman from the pool he maintains. When he discovers that she is actually a character from a bedtime story who is trying to make the journey back to her home, he works with his tenants to protect his new friend from the creatures that are determined to keep her in our world." (courtesy from IMDB)
Let's start with the acting. It was superb! Paul Giamatti has long deserved an Oscar (Oscars... tsk, ignorant fools) and this just cuts the cake. Bryce Dallas howard, who plays the lady named Story, is great. She nails the part and looks so hauntingly beautiful. And we can't forget the supporting cast!!! There were so many though, and they were all terrific and blended really well. The surprise was M. Night himself! He has always been known to make cameos in his movies, but in this movie it was not a mere cameo yet he played a very important part. Wow, he can act!!! hahaha! And his relationship with his sister is funny as hell! Reminds me of me and Nathan... The story is beautiful, shyamalan made it as a bed time story for his kids. The movie had lots of funny parts, emotional and touching parts, surprising and sometimes scary, lots of little twists (though no big twist in the end.. which was the twist! haha), beautiful cinematography (as usual!) and the trademark eeriness factor of M. Night, Lady in the Water is a beautiful and unusual film, like the Lady. Sure it was a flop, but so what? History will be the judge. M. Night Shyamalan is absolutely an amazing director and storyteller. After LITW, I watche the 6th sense for the first time and I also liked it (though I already knew the ending so it kind of ruined it for me). I like Signs and the Village too. But LITW is my absolute favorite work of his. And I really want him to do the movies of harry potter 6 and 7!!! He was actually supposed to do the first film but he didn't because he was doing another movie but he says he really regrets it and would LOVE to do the last films. HARRY POTTER and M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN = match made in movie heaven!!!!!!!
So that's all for now folks, until next time!!!! ANd remember, stay SEXY!!!! bwahahahaha! MWAH!

Yes, that's right, exam week is here again. The week which brings forth, stress, extreme headaches, worrying is increased by 2, no make that 3 times, and the occassional fit is once again in our midst. Only this time, it is new. This time, it's the High School exam week. See, I am a freshman, and after taking the Long Tests, I already thought those were horrible. But no, this is the Periodical Test. Fail this, then goodbye to your grade. Well, all of the test are over 100 (with the exception of CLE), we have an hour on all and an hour and a half on the MATH PT. scared? Not really. Just really, REALLY nervous. Chinese is the first (as usual) which happens on Monday. Well, everyone prepared to be shocked, I know I ramled ALOT in my past entries about how much I despise with all my heart cHinese and my grades. Well, guess what? My highest subject (along with ENglish) happens to be Chinese! No, not because I sucked in all subjects, but because our teacher (bless her soul) gives extremely high marks! I swear to God, my lowest grade is a 6.5 and that's because I deliberately didn't study for it! lol. I am shocked beyond words how much my Chinese grade is so good! And much, MUCH better than my Filipino grade! Filipino used to be one of my highest academic subject! Can't believe the big difference! lol!
Last Friday was the much awaited PUSSYCAT DOLLS CONCERT! It was sooooo fun yet, BITIN TO THE MAXX!!!!! God, where was the encore?!?!??! I love it, and I also can't believe that I now love the song DON'T CHA! I used to reallllyyyyyy hate it! hahaaha! here are pics! All pics came from CD... We should REALLY get a camera already...
Last Saturday was my brother's get together thing with some friends to celebrate his bday. (late ya...) It was fun and we ate lotsa food!!! yummmmy! The Lastimosa girls and Cariaso boys came. It wa a fun time.
This week was rather hectic if I should say so myself. Tons of projects and other requirements had to be passed and it was the non academic subjects periodical tests, so that was fun. (sarcastic) One of the highlights of the week was Debate for A.P. I was a debater, 2nd rebuttal for the Affirmative side, for the argument "Resolve that Media People Should Carry Arms" This topic really got me interested. When I first heard about it, I knew lots of media people got killed, but it was so much more to it than that.As we researched, we found out shocking facts and figures. Did you know that the Philippines is the second deadliest country, just after war torn Iraq? I usually thought that journalists and the like die or get killed because they have to venture in dangerous places, but it turns out, the major cause is assisination. Yup, by those "powerful people" who want to silence the truth. As I said in my debate, "Silencing the truth is a way of silencing democracy". (got that from one of the researchers! lol) So the debate was held on Wednesday and all of us debaters were all dead nervous. THe last night, me, Issa and Samantha Lim (we were group mates) were all ym'ing our speeches, discussing the stuff etc... sooo stressful! Yet it was worth it. (oh the second rebuttal speaker is the last speaker for each side. basically of we do is summarize the team's points and make it appear strong.) The results were announced kanina. The judges (another group of gals) gave their oral report on the debate. They picked our side as the winning side, Sam being the best debater and me as the best speaker!!! lol,as kat gaw said, because the way I said it was passionate and was blah, forgot! The remaining people (the people who watched, the researches) majority vote was the negative side (ugh, such a popularity contest. tsk tsk) I won best speaker again and Erica Lemi, from the Negative side won best debater. Teacher's opinion was the same with the judges, so YA!!!! We're just after the grade anyway! ;p!
Today was First friday mass so it was shortened periods. We had Health, yet it was made for the PE test for the volleyball service and a game between my team and Su's team. We won and got perfect!!! Wooohoo!!! Ya! But we got into a LITTLE trouble. As I said, we were shortened periods, but Health went on for 50 minutes. And the next period was music, and she was angry. Though I definitely do not blame her. She's a good teacher so it's all good now. Atleast she wasn't like Ms. Rocha...
Ok, gotta study for that darn Chinese exam!!! :( So, I've been taking these quizzes in Quizilla. The new craze is the "What to the Harry Potter characters think of you?" or the "what is your hogwarts reputation" or "YULE BALL DAtE..." blah! and I swear, it filled the page. YEt it's all so fun! (why the hell do I keep ending up with harry though?! I like him but I WANT OLIVER WOOD OR GEORGE WEASLEY! oh well, dan radcliffe is hot naman eh... lol)

He is hoping you and Harry will get married.Voldemort: Is totally terrified of you and is worried you are going to help Harry defeat him. Too much info, man!)Crabbe and Goyle: They don't notice you. Besides, they're too busy eating the world around them.House-elvesDobby, Kreacher and Winky: Winky wishes you were dead when she's drunk, whilst Dobby likes you almost as much as he likes Harry. Kreacher just misses his mistress.TeachersDumbledore: Thinks of you highly, and knows that you can defeat the Dark Lord. He thinks Harry and you are an outstanding couple.McGonagall: Thinks you're a student with amazing talent, but wishes you'd stop chatting with Harry in class. She expects great things from you.Snape: He hates you. You're a Gryffindor. You're with Harry. You're not with Draco...The list could go on, and on...Professor Sprout: Does enjoy your outdoorsy nature, but wishes you'd stop scaring the other students by putting biting Bowtruckle are their backs. Though you don't mean any harm, the bite really hurts!!!Professor Flitwick: Wishes you'd stop levitating other students for fun instead of paying attention. Last time you did that, no one could get Pansy back down. (Which is odd, considering her weight.)Hagrid: Likes how his height doesn't bother you. He loves how you care for creatures, and thinks you and Harry are two misfits born for each other.Trelawney: Sees a grim future for you and Harry, and cautions you to dump him before anything else happens.Lupin: Thinks you're an enthusiastic student, but hates when you show a little bit of cleavage because it gets his were-wolf instincts acting up. (If you know what I mean. *wink*)Mad-Eye Moody: He knows you as the new girl who joined the order. He doesn't really care for you all that much.Binns and Grubby-Plank: Think you have a great potential if you would stop falling asleep in their classes! They're not that boring...are they?Lock-Heart: Too preoccupied with remembering himself, and looking in the mirror. Quirrell: Dead, so just leave it at that!Umbridge: Wants to give you detention because she hates you (by association), and wants to see you die at the hands of Lord Voldemort. Slughorn: Finds himself much more interested in you than before because of your strong bond with Harry. He makes you partners all the time.Sinistra: Likes how you can be sneaky, and is a friend of yours. She was just like you as a teen, and knows was it's like to be underestimated. (Meaning people didn't know what she was capable of.)OthersSirius: He called you Goddaughter before he died, and his only wish is to see you and Harry married.Voldemort: You're on his list. The damn coward considers you a threat. You don't mind; you like a challenge, but you know Harry will want to protect you.The rest of the wizarding world: They don't know you of course, but the ones that do usually like you. Overall, you're one popular, and loved chick!!!PLEASE RATE!!! I WORKED SO HARD ON THIS!!! THANK YOU!!! Take this quiz!

Your REAL Hogwarts Social Life! Very detailed answers.
House: GRYFFINDOR!(We were lucky enough to get interviews with Sirius, Dumbledore, and Cedric before their tragic demises.)StudentsHarry: Shes a good friend, I like her a lot. Im glad shes with Ron, I think theyre good for each other. Theyre pretty similar, really, when you think about it. Ron: I really love her. I mean its not like, you know, how it was with [looks a little embarrassed] with Lavender. This is different I think thisll be more long term in fact well. Never mind about that. But yeah, Id do anything for her.Hermione: [very cold voice] ______? Yes, I suppose shes nice. Certainly very cheerful and lively. But well I dont think shes good for Ron at all. No way. Most think she is, but I know him, and I know her, and they are NOT good together. Im sure theyll break up soon. Sure of itGinny: Shes my best friend. We do everything together. I was so happy when she and Ron got together! I sort of helped them out a little. But yeah, were great friends.Seamus: I dont really know her all that well. She seems nice from what I know of her. Very energetic. Shes played a few pranks on me with Fred and George. Looking back, they /were/ pretty funny.Dean: Shes cool. Really fun to be around she really lightens up a room. She and Ron are good for each other.Neville: Well, shes sometimes a little too hyper for me but shes nice, yes. I like her.Lavender: Her? Shes horrible. I hate her so much. Ever since I saw her, the very first day I arrived at Hogwarts, I hated her. I cant believe that /anyone/ could like her.Luna: I dont really know her she seems very nice, however. She doesnt laugh at me very much.Parvati: Shes really nice! I like her a lot. Shes always so cheerful and happy, shes really fun to be around. Its so funny when she gets together with Fred and George and prank Filch. Cho: I dont really know her shes in another house, after all. But shes got a good reputation.Cedric: Ive met her a few times, and she seemed like a nice person. Really energetic. Fred: _____? She is the coolest.George: Shes like Lee Jordan. Always ready for a prankFred: Yeah, shes one of our best friends.George: Even though shes younger than us.Malfoy: ____? Ask any Slytherin and theyll tell you about HER. Shes like Potter arrogant. / Someone/ needs to really teach that Mudblood a lesson.[At this point we would like to advise you to watch your back.]Pansy: Shes so completely stuck-up. She really thinks shes something special. We all hate her. Everyone does.Crabbe: *glances up from plate, frowns, keeps eating* Goyle: *looks up, a little confused, doesnt say anything*The TeachersMcGonagall: She could pay a little more attention in class, perhaps. But she is quite entertaining to have in a class, even if she doesnt put enough into her studies. Ive always got stories to tell the other teachers at lunch. Flitwick: Shes very funny; very clever and witty, though she doesnt always apply it to her studies. Its fun to have her in my class. Snape: Almost as useless as Longbotto well, no, perhaps not. Shes certainly better at Potions than Longbottom is, but shes so impossible so very impossible! She refuses to pay attention, and detentions dont do anything. I cant wait until she passes 5th year and she gets out of my class. [Unfortunately for Snape, you did pass your DADA O.W.L., and so were in his class again.]Sprout: Shes got plenty of potential if shed just apply herself. But I like teaching her, nonetheless.Hagrid: Yeah, well, _____ may not be great in class, but I sure like having her round fer tea on the weekends. She comes down with the other three yer know, Harry, Ron, and Hermione pretty often.Slughorn: Oh, _____? She may not be the best in the class, but shes very vivacious and witty. Just for her sheer attitude I invite her to the little suppers of mine you know, the Slug Club. Dumbledore: I doubt shell go very far academically, but shes wonderful to have around. Very lively and cheerful, you know. Yes, I like her a lot.OthersLupin: I think when she gets older shell be excellent for the Order, even though she sometimes has trouble applying herself; I think shell make more of an effort at fighting Voldemort, shes very passionate about the subject. Shes a great person we all like her a lot. Sirius: Like Remus said, were always glad to see her. Its nice to see someone who can keep her spirits up, even in times like thisMr. Weasley: Weve had her over at the Burrow a fair few times, and shes always a very delightful guest. We love having her here. Mrs. Weasley: Oh, _______ is such a dear. We all like her so much. And always so happy when we see her! Shes such a good friend for Ginny and Ron, too.Voldemort: I barely know her. Only as a friend of Potter's. I've been thinking of using her against him, but so far I don't think I will, not unless she gets closer to him. Maybe Weasley, though... Now I'm busy. What kind of Sunset are you? (more pics by me!)
You are the Warm Sunset. (This picture is absolutely breathtaking to me.) You are a warm and bright person, just like the colors. You are mainly friendly and happy. But, if you notice, there is a bit of blue sky in there...which represents that not all of you is 100% happy all the time. Most compatible with: Pink Sunset, because you are both happy, peppy peopleLeast compatible with: Covered Sunset, because you like to show your true colors and the Covered Sunset tries to hide them. **********************************I spent several days making this quiz, and even took the pics myself. It only takes a second to let me know what you think! Take this quiz!

This phrase is probably one of the most used phrases today. We always hear the tagalog equivalent "tao lang" whenever we make a mistake. Quite frankly, I hate that saying. Fine, we get it. We all make mistakes, it's part of human nature. Or is it?
Christian Life Education has become on of my favorite subjects. And one of the reasons, basically the main reason, is because of the teacher and our adviser, Ms. Lo. Former ICAn so she knows what ICAns feel about CLE. She is a great teacher, every time we meet, she makes the lessons very interesting and as my friend Alessy said, "makes CLE feel like an acutal subject." lol. CLE is not really considered as an academic subject. Yet she makes us remember why we are being taught this subject in the first place. The last lesson was Temptation and the beggining of sin. (since we just ended our lesson on the Creation story) I did not want that topic to end, mainly because it was fun yet at the same time made me really think. She taught us that God created everything, so that all his creations are good in nature. Yet, aren't people born with original sin? Is it not human nature to sin? In the Bible, doesn't it say that no human being is perfect? Let's go back to the Creation story, where the first sin was done. Adam and Eve was created by the hands of God, so they're good, until the serpent tempts Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. She did and mankind was doomed from that point on. And when we were born, we already have the "original sin". So does that mean that when we were just introduced to the world and nothing more than little babies, we already commited a sin? Not really. So why do we sin? Because we are born into a sinful world. It is not in our nature to sin, yet we still do. Why? As I said, the world we live in now is a sinful world. Our good comes from within whereas sin comes from outside us that influence us to sin. Frankly, it is OUR choice whether to sin or not. So you may or may not choose to believe it, and I don't know if I do, but I guess it is relevant in some way. I mean, how can we be created in God's image and likeness if we do bad things? Well, Christians believe this, and if you're not Christian, well, I'm sorry if things are getting confusing.
Knowing that, humans are imperfect. Yet we can try to better ourselves. The past few weeks, I have looked at all of my imperfections. I am proud, jealous, sobra sa arte, tend to lie alot and lazy. Because of knowing this, I get frustrated. How will I know if I am acting these things? I mean, it's part of my personality already. But I am desperately trying to better myself. Hopefuly, I find a way!
Ate ALOT of food yesterday! Ate at Chilli's and didn't eat the usual baby back ribs, ate the bacon burger. And it's GOOOOD! We also ordered this dessert that is heaven. yummmm,... Watched RV and it was ok. I hate Jojo and the mom. Why do they always portray the teenage girl like that?! Seriously, she should get spanked. gaah! not all of us are like that...

I've got a jar of dirt! I've got a jar of dirt! Guess what's inside it?!
Watched POTC 2 last Saturday, via Jpu's bday party and it was a BLAST!!!! The food was great, the movie was great and over all the party was so fun!!! There was 10 of us and we just kept taking pictures of ourselves. (what do you expect?!) We ate at the Green Tomato, and I swear, I was HUNGRY! lol! I ate the most I think. hahah, food was yummy! Endless supply of pasta and pizza... And affordable too, though really, Jpu paid for the food, so didn't have to worry about the cost... haha, so mean..
Last, Last Friday was the Volleyball intrams tryouts. I got in but there were people who were complaining and another tryouts was supposed to be held yesterday. And I didn't go. Why the hell will I waste my time again if there are some questionable things going on? Me and my friends worked our asses off in the first tryouts then this is what happens?
Last week went by pretty fast! I mean REAAAALLLYYYY fast. It was like, we were all grumbling that it was a Monday morning, enjoying the food in Cooking class and having a huge and I mean HUGE headache right after Math Long Tes (kill me) on Tuesday, halfday on Wednesday, studying alot on Thusday (actually, that's everyday) and rejoicing that it's a FRIDAY!!! Then the cycle will just go on and on and on and on... Yesterday we had choir practice and guess what? I BROKE MY ID. You wanna know why? It all started when a certain Stefanie Kaye Tan Su kicked my skirt leaving her freakin' footprint. So i would do what any normal person would and try to dust it off. The ID got in the way and there goes my Id. I panicked but it turns out, as long as the barcode works, I'll still be able to get out of the school. thank god Stefie Ong is such a nice person. I can hardly think of anything bad to say about her. And even if I could, it would seem so small in comparison to mine. Unfortunately, her mom was operated last Tuesday because of brain tumor. We'll be praying for her!!!
Today is Nathan' bday, so happy birthday freaky brother! hahhahaah! We're gonna go to Shakey's cuz we're going to another party (my bro hates pizza) and gonna watch a movie later, RV. Hope it's a good movie...
Kitkat already knows mystery guy. Wonder what she thinks about it??? hmm... Guess I'll find out in FRIDAY, Pussycat dolls! Wohoo! Their songs are rather weird and sometimes kind of, um, pointless but they're still cool. And hot. ya...
Purefoods are the champions. Allow me to puke. My reaction to the game last night...
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! P*t*ng *na!!!!!!!!! WHY?!?!?!? yuck!!! PUCHA!!! BAKIT>?!?!??!?!?!?! NOOO!!!!! YUCKKKKK!!!! EEEEWWWWWWW!!!!!!! MGA ULOL!!! DAYA NIYO!!!!!!!! THE WORLD IS ENDING!!! PIGS ARE FLYING!!! EEEEEWWWW!!!! And to think that WE could have been the ones screaming our heads off.." to Marc Pingris winning the finals MVP and his speech= "WTF?! EEWWWWWW!!!! so THAT's Danica.. eh, whatever"
Disgusting, absolutely horrible. The freaks don't deserve it... OH WELL!!! congrats nalang... Limpot finally has a championship after 13 or 14 years. hahahaa! AND THE WORST IS JAMES YAP IS MVP. Pukeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Seriously, so many dudes deserve it (if I had to pick with the choices, TUGADE deserves it) but nooo they give it to the one with the famous wife. She can't even act! All she does is make a fool of herself. She's nice and everything, but sobrang madaya. As you all can see, semis wounds are still fresh. Oh wel, to next season!!! GOTTA WIN IT!!!

Me sooo happy!!! First of all, today was a halfday because of the rains (though pretty useless cuz we went home at 1:30) and now it was just announced that there are no classes for all levels tomorrow!!! WOHOOO!!!!! So our volleyball intrams tryouts is moved to Friday! more time to prepare!!! Today was our Filipino long test. And it was easier than I thought. Unfortunately, I have been failing the Filipino quizzes (which is really weird because last year, Filipino was one of my best academic subjects) so gotta get a good grade!
That's it, it's official. I'm now THIS CLOSE to having a crush on the guy. Ya. UGH!!! The Mulawin theme song, "Ikaw Nga" by South Border is like my second favorite love song. I am sooooo kilig over this song, it's not even funny. (well, for Jean it is ) I LOVE THE SONG!!! It reminds me of him. I have no idea why though. I loved this song since I started liking him, so go figure.
Last Saturday was the party I have been waiting for for quite a while now. It was in Ayala, Alabang. And it was super fun!!! It was Rocio's bday party and she was so adorable!!! She looked so cute in her green gown! Damn, no pic... Though very few players came. We were only about 5 and Coach Tim went too. The Lastimosas didn't come!!! tsk. Yet, I had a really fun time with the Cariaso kids. Got to "bond" with them more. hahaha! I swear, in the party, I acted like such a kid. I was telling the C boys "let's explore the house!!!" Javie kasi, shy shy pa eh! lol, joke! Another funny thing was I brought my chinese book because it was the chinese lt on monday. And it generated some attention! haha. I also brought Stefie's bball 'cuz she wanted the team's autograph especially, ehem ehem! STEFFIE!!! bwahahahahaha. The food was good. And they had doggies! Two golden retrievers!!! SO CUTE and so huge! haha.
So after the party, we were going to ANOTHER bday dinner. This time one of the player's, Banjo's bday naman. We went to his in laws house at the same area, and one thing I gotta say about the house. IT IS DAMN HUGE!!! hahaha. Well, the food just rocks man!!! SOOO GOOD!!! lol. Two more players made habol and so did sila Tita Tet. It was a very fun day. Here are pics!!!
Other news, we have 2 new puppy labradors!!!! Given, get this, GIVEN by don allado. SOO CUTE!!! Boy and girl named Luke and Lea. Star Wars, I know!!! lol..Will post pics soon! :D
Excited for Pussycat dolls concert!!! Again in more ways than one...

Roller coaster of emotions...
The past two weeks has been full of ups and downs of emotions for me. Even in a span of a day I experienced everything from feeling depressed, optimistic, downright depressed again, optimistic, happy, excited then back to depressed and a little bit of guilt. Ok lets start on the top.
Two Saturdays ago me, Kat Gaw, JEan and Sam Lim went to Issa's house to do projects. Me and Kat for a PE project and Sam and Jean for their science project. It was so fun, the food was good (as usual!) and we sang KARAOKE! Ok, what made this really interesting was the fact that Kat Gaw was depressed or something. (acting ito. The story is that our kabarkada, Stefie broke up with her 'cuz she saw Kat Gaw flirting with Domi. Our storylines... :D)So she sung, practically hogged the karaoke, only singing depressing love songs (except for Mambo number 5, in which she changed all the girls' names to Stefie) cursing about life, "crying" and practically yelling for beer!!! lol. Yeah, she's craaazy! Maybe it's also the fact that she was running for a Student COuncil position and she has to make a speech for Monday. It's a very unique speech w/c is about Sophia, rice fields and her boobs. Uhuh, if you want to know the story, contact me! The next day was Game 4 Semifinals Alaska Aces vs Purefoods (I feel like hitting something when I say that name...) And we won! Great game!!! Really fun! Ok, what you had to know about that week was it was soooo stressful. They just threw all homework possible. For Science, we had this dish garden thing that was due on July 3. And tons of other stuff! AGH! Surprisingly, the week after that, last week, was pretty, well,LIGHT. Last Tuesday was our first club activity day. My club is I, Speak, a speech club. It's actually a very good club! We are in charge of the Dedication Booth in the fair and the people are very nice. My club rocks!!! haahah.
Fridays are always fun, considering it's the last day of the week. Yet last Friday marked the doom for my team. Hay nako. Last Friday was also the day were I experienced that different array of emotions I talked about earlier. Hay. So we lost and had to painfully endure a Game 7 in the semis. In this particular game I had blank feelings. I didn't know what to expect. I desperately wanted them to win yet the possibiltiy of losing was also very high. We lost by a point. . Of course for all of us it was sad, but I think I was probably those who were affected by it the most. As it says now in the news, my dad is retiring. And I have no idea whether or not Alaska wants to take him back as a player or asst. coach or even if they're planning to renew his contract. I was just really depressed because I wanted him to reitre after winning one more championship. I always dreamed he'd retire that way. Well, I didn't cry, got teary eyed, but inside I was torn apart. That's why I really wanted them to be champions this conference, even when this confe didn't start yet, already knowing that this is probably my dad's last. Nothings certain. Who knows, maybe he has one more season in him. But even if he doesn't have one more championship ring, he has already proven his worth in his career. And to finish the already bright day, we got stuck in parking for 30 minutes. Cuneta Astrodome officially SUCKS! Daddy was reaally fuming. How come whenever we're out of the running, something bad happens with cars?! lol.
So I came to school on Monday feeling a little bit down, yet that day turned to out to be extremely fun. Yes, it was our INITIATION or "welcoming rites". The date was supposed to be secret, yet it leaked so we weren't THAT surprised. Can't talk about it, as it should be kept in confidence, but next year freshmen, good luck. lol. Yesterday was Alaska vs SMB for 3rd place. My dad played, probably his last in the PBA. He didn't shoot, but ohwell! We won! That cheered me up quite a bit.Actually a lot! Atleast Alaska has a much better chance next season! (If we are there next season! things are slightly shady now...) Also had a fun talk with Janella Lua, the pamangkin of the mayari ng Redbull. Also ICAN. Our long quizzes started on Tuesday for A.P and yesterday for English. It's not like elementary anymore, there's no l.t. week. So today and tomorrow we don't have. Today was our study con. thing. I went to filipino. I cannot believe I am failing Filipino. This sucks eggs. I am also pretty scared of Math. Shoot.
TOmorrow I have an audition to host our Variety show in october! Pretty nervous, and I obviously know it's gonna go to a senior, so I'm prepared for failure! I'm also soooo excited for Roccio's party on Saturday! SUPER!!!! And there are more reasons than one... Ok, fellow barkada people and CArla you know why! Also want to play with the kids!!!!! Miss them already!
WORLD CUP!!!! WOHOO!!! Me and my family are really sucked in the world cup fever. BRAZIL LOST! WTF?!?!!??! lol. And so did England. It was prety sad, my fave player in England, Michael OWen, got injured in the middle of the World cup. He's really good and really handsome!!! And yes, married with a child. WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?!??!?!?!? Anyway, here's a picture:
I like him more than Beckham, though Beckham's still really good! Ok, so the Final Four is Portugal (my blood!!! lol), Italy, Germany and France. My dad wants France to win! As for me, France and Portugal. I'm Portugese man! lol. And the Portugese team is GORGEOUS!!!! So is the Italian team. (duh!) hahhaa, that's all for now folks! Oh yeah, about that guy I talked about in my last entry, STILL NOT TELLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Only a few people know, not even my mom knows! I think... hahahahahaha!
